The Mafate Café offers typical Reunionese dishes, such as morning rice, and good "lontan" cakes: chocolate sweet potato fondant, Creole pâté, chocolate banana cake... Traditional ingredients are also used to create new recipes such as the delicious manioc waffle or the chocolate dakatine cake, creations that are well worth a visit. If you prefer, you can have them delivered or take them away.

On one side, traditional artisanal ice creams, vacherins, crêpes: a wide and varied choice (too much!). On the other side, a snack bar and restaurant with daily specials: croque-monsieur, savoury sandwiches, gourmet salads. They also make cottage cheese and yoghurts. The Igloo is the place to be for teenagers on weekends before or after a movie or a trip to the city centre. Reservations are required for lunch.
