LOLA K10
Read moreA shop (finally, here we talk about "minimarket") fashion, eclectic and inventive. Original, always surprising, and full to bursting. Here you can find clothes, déco, jewelry, accessories, kitchen utensils… In short, we come here without knowing what you are looking for… but we always end up finding the rare pearl. To the detriment of its portfolio, because it's pretty expensive! Also a store in Saint-Pierre since 2011.
PARDON !
Read moreA shop with a tropical decor, with its goldfish pond embedded in the ground: Pardon! all spit! Created in 1984, the extravagant brand with the devilish logo has become a must in the local clothing and cultural landscape. From the towel to the boardshort, passing by the skirt or the T-shirt, Pardon! dresses you from head to toe, with quality items. It's expensive, but often funny, always "cool" and invariably original. You will be able to buy the little guide to Reunion Island made in Pardon. Great!
LIBRAIRIE GÉRARD
Read moreA bookstore that we warmly recommend, both for the variety of its books and the welcome and advice it offers. You will be able to buy historical books, beautiful photography books or guides to discover the island. For the little ones, the bookshop presents all that is done in children's literature in Reunion Island. You will be spoilt for choice. Above all, many book signings are organised there throughout the year. A few steps further on, the bookshop has opened a second space for more choice.
SERGE GÉLABERT
Read moreSerge Gélabert is THE photographer of Réunion Island. His son Franck, now in his twenties, is following in his footsteps. This Corsican-born photographer, fascinated by the Piton de la Fournaise and the Route des Tamarins, has spent thirty years on the island, capturing its beauty in every possible way: books, DVDs, postcards, posters, greeting cards, diaries and directories, envelopes and placemats. In short, everything sells, especially during the holiday season, when the artist is constantly releasing new works!
You'll find her wares in her store, as well as in other outlets around the island, and on her website. A visit to the store is well worth your while, as she also does classic developments and prints.
LE REPAIRE DE LA MURÈNE
Read moreA bookstore where you will find all the comic strips from Reunion Island and even from the Indian Ocean, especially those published by Des Bulles dans l'Océan Éditions, Orphies or Comics Trip Éditions. La Grippe coloniale, Tiburce, Coût d'Etat à Tamatave, Un Marron, Histoire de la Réunion... and many others. Regularly Reunionese, Mauritian or Malagasy authors dedicate their titles, so stay vigilant on social networks. All we need is a little smile when we enter the bookshop.
