Travel Guide Cerrito

Cerrito is located on the banks of the Paraná River. An unknown place, due to its difficult access, but its long white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters have nothing to envy to those of Carmen del Paraná or Villa Florida. The cerrito, the only elevation in the area, offers a beautiful view of the river. For excursions, such as to the islands of Pombero, Martín García and Boca, or the dunes of Cerrito, ask your posada for advice, although you will have no trouble finding someone to take you anyway. We arrive from Pilar (120 km) in 3 hours on a sandy track, very bad when it rains, or from Ayolas, to the east, but the path is just as difficult. A bus (Del Sur) leaves Pilar around 12 noon on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
