This village, located 17 km south of Villa Florida, is nicknamed the "Wool Capital"! Every year, in mid-June, we celebrate the Ovecha Ragüe Festival, which could be translated as "the festival of what used to be sheep", basically the wool festival! As always in Paraguay, such an event is accompanied by traditional equestrian shows, music, folk dances and gastronomic specialties, such as batiburrillo, a stew made from beef offal. This is where you have to stop to buy hammocks, rugs, blankets, or wool ponchos. The craftsmen display their products in front of their houses along the road that runs through the village. An ATM at the municipality if needed.
