Travel Guide Parque Nacional Baritú

This park, of a fascinating exuberance, extends over 72 000 ha and presents a typical flora of tropical forest. Its mountainous access is very delicate. To get there, you have to expect a trying adventure. In summer, the access is impossible because of the rains. By car, you can first reach Oran, then take Route 50 to Aguas Blancas and drive to Bermejo, Bolivia, before returning to Argentina via Los Toldos. It takes 464 km from Salta. It is also possible to reach Angosto del Pescado from Aguas Blancas, before going up the river to the junction of the Porongal and Pescado Rivers. This route is magical.
