This peaceful village, located 11 km north of Ruta 6, is home to the ruins of the Jesuit mission Jesús de Tavarangué, which was declared a World Heritage Site by Uneso in 1993, along with the ruins of the mission of Santísima Trinidad del Paraná. The reduction of Jesús de Tavarangué is less visited than that of Trinidad. We advise you to do both, knowing that they are very close to each other and have very different physiognomies, both in their architecture and in the night show (Mapping in Jesus, sound and light show in Trinidad), presented from Wednesday to Sunday at times that allow you to do both (with your own vehicle or by taxi). The village has a few posadas and small restaurants with local cuisine, but no vending machines.
