Tearoom offering hot or iced chocolate with cookies, in the walled town of Bellême

Part tea room, part chocolate bar, part cookie factory, the shop itself is a Proust's madeleine reminiscent of childhood. And, tucked away in a cul-de-sac near the Porche de Bellême, it makes you feel like you're playing hooky to savor Valentin's succulent milk chocolate, hot or iced (in summer), accompanied by the cookies for which he's famous, or other fragrant sweets: sablés, tartelettes, pains de Gênes, financiers.
