This fourteen-room hotel is one of the most elegant on the Pelješac peninsula. It is housed in a historic building dating back to the 15th century. The atmosphere is hushed, and the furnishings are full of patina. The welcome is young and fresh. The hotel's large restaurant, Kapetanova Kuća, boasts a terrace overlooking the harbor. It specializes in fish dishes, seafood platters, fried mussels, marinated prawns and oysters, when in season. Free parking.

Der Zufall führte uns nach Mali Ston ins Ostrea Hotel. Wir wollten ursprünglich lieber in Ston übernachten. Welch ein Glück! Das Haus erwies sich als wahres Kleinod in perfekter Filmkulisse. Romantischer und netter kann man nicht übernachten. Der Blick aus dem Zimmerfenster ist einfach umwerfend. Zudem ist die Lage perfekt. Ruhig und zentral. Wir wurden mehr als freundlich empfangen, das Zimmer war im April angenehm beheizt. Das Bad ist klein, aber perfekt. Top ist auch der Frühstücksraum direkt am Hafen. Das Frühstück super lecker. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Mali Ston ist auch der bessere Ausgangspunkt für eine Wanderung über die Mauer. Man startet ohne Touristenrummel. Rundum eine perfekte Übernachtung.

Wir sind spontan bei einer Rundreise eine Nacht in dem hotel geblieben, außerhalb der Saison. Das Zimmer ist sehr schön mit tollen Ausblick. Frühstück war völlig ausreichend. Hatten uns vielleicht noch gekochte Eier oder Rührei gewünscht. Aber trotzdem recht viel Auswahl.
