Located between Consecon Lake and Weller's Bay, the name of this small village comes from the Native American Knan Nokjarm (opening) and Con con (walleye - freshwater fish). The area is not overflowing with shops, but there are a few b&b's and campgrounds, although North Beach Provincial Park is nearby. Although accessible only during daylight hours, North Beach Provincial Park is famous for its beaches and is much less popular than its neighbour at Sandbanks. In the vicinity of the park, on the way to Hillier, you can enjoy agri-tourism at one of the wineries. In Consecon itself, it is recommended to try chicken jerk.
