At the junction of the Middle Atlas and Eastern High Atlas ranges, Midelt is a small authentic mountain village nestled at an altitude of over 1,500 metres. It often happens in winter that snow covers its vegetation of firs, cedars, oaks and olive trees. You will discover a welcoming little town, living from the apple and mineral trade. Its interest lies above all in its location: it is the ideal starting point for discovering the surroundings and organizing hikes in its lush forests where Barbary macaques live. It is also the only place where you can stay in the area
