15 km northwest of Guelmim, on the southern flank of the Western Anti-Atlas. From there, take the road to Sidi Ifni for 3 km; a sign indicates the road to Abaynou on the right, 10 km away. Abaynou is a quiet place, which is famous for its thermal spring with curative virtues, in the middle of a luxuriant oasis, where you can make pleasant walks. The resort has two pools, one for men and one for women. This small village is a pleasant stopover. It is still safe from tourists and touts, but is very popular with campers.
