The Service Interprofessionnel de Santé au Travail Ouest Normandie (SIST Ouest Normandie), through its more than 20 occupational health and prevention centers, offers a range of services tailored to the needs of every employee and company in the region, whatever their sector of activity (excluding construction and agriculture). Known by its full name, Hôpital Mémorial France - Etats-Unis, it has 500 beds and employs over 1,600 staff, including 200 doctors. Among its specialties, the hospital boasts a high-performance technical platform, and is renowned for its maternity unit and excellence in bariatric surgery. The Coutances hospital is considered a geriatric center of excellence.
