Behenjy is a large town located 42 kilometers from Antananarivo, a roadside stop where bush cabs and trucks stop. It could be pleasant to walk up to the railway station whose colonial architecture is not without charm. From the station, you will have an interesting view on the river and the town. But the region is especially famous for its excellent foie gras, snails and nymph legs. For the foie gras, follow the recommendation tested and approved by many Futés! In short, Behenjy is above all a stopover appreciated by gastronomes, at the very beginning of the Route du Sud!
