The road winds between wooded hills of pine forests, lakes and rivers. During the rainy season, the terraces in terraces glow when the water that irrigates them reflects sunlight between the shoots of soft green paddy. All along the road (to Ambatolampy), the villagers offer seasonal fruits (including, in fact, the whole year) and handicrafts for a smaller price than in the capital. You can buy soubiques, elephants and raffia giraffes, car and truck models (metal).
