The Kigamboni peninsula is located just opposite Dar es Salaam city center, and a ferry terminal is dedicated to this crossing. The opening of the Nyerere Bridge in 2016 (7 km to the south) heralds further investment on the other side of the bay, but for now, after crossing by ferry to Kigamboni, the south coast remains fairly wild, with few hotels being built. So now is the time to make the most of it. A little further on, the village of Gezaulole, home to the Zaramo ethnic group. Continuing along the coast, we reach Ras Kutani (ras means "cape"), nestled in a magnificent forest.
