On the border of the state of Bahia, in Sergipe, located 234 km from Salvador, Mangue Seco is a charming little fishing village. Ideally located at the mouth of the Rio Real, it offers a postcard landscape. Its name, literally, "dry mangrove", comes from the natural drying of the manguezal, which gave way to large sand dunes. There is nothing special to do there, and that is precisely the reason why people come from far away. We enjoy the weather. During the weekend or during the carnival period, the village is invaded by tourists, it is advisable to book in advance. Avoid the buggy rides, not very ecological.
