MANGO SECO

In today's Nordeste, far from the backpacker's paradise that lasted until the 1990s, adventure and the magic of the place have to be earned. It may be necessary to move away from the "spots" to rediscover them. A little further away, 175 km from Praia do Forte and 225 km from Salvador, near Aracaju, the capital of Sergipe, a remote village with splendid beaches and white sand dunes seems to have emerged from the past. The place has gained notoriety over the last decade, as it is the town where the film Tieta do Agreste, a character from Jorge Amado's novel of the same name, was shot.
