At last count, Cardigan Bay was home to 4,000 seals and over a hundred dolphins. In summer, between 200 and 300 dolphins follow schools of mackerel from Ireland to the Welsh coast of Carmarthenshire. In season, boat trips are regularly organized to find the dolphins and seals. There's also a long sandy beach just beyond the yacht club. For a more cultural visit, follow in the footsteps of the famous poet Dylan Thomas, who stayed here several times during some of the most productive periods of his career.
