Triple George is the casual grill for the chic residents of Las Vegas, and has been for decades; the black and white photos on the walls attest to this. Opened in 2014 by chef Kerry Simon, Carson Kitchen is a very good Downtown eatery off Fremont Street. It offers inventive and refined gourmet cuisine at low prices in a modern, elegant setting with a relaxed atmosphere. Small but carefully thought out, the menu offers a nice selection of plates to share, some delicious burgers, several meat and fish dishes, as well as vegetarian options. For dessert, there are only three choices: banoffee pie, donut and brownie. A favorite!

A few steps from Fremont Street, this modern restaurant has a large room with an industrial style décor, open kitchen, brick walls, exposed pipes and black and white photos. There is also a small terrace outside. Reserved for breakfasts, brunches and lunches, this good address serves simple and hearty American classics with a touch of originality. The food is fresh and of high quality, ranging from traditional pancakes to sandwiches and a wide variety of egg dishes.

This romantic yet kitsch restaurant - as evidenced by the rose chosen for its logo - focuses on meats and seafood; vegetarians beware! House specialties include veal escalope, duck lacquered with Maple Bourbon, grilled chicken and beef Wellington served with foie gras and Bordeaux sauce. The icing on the cake: the help of a sommelier to select the right wine. Also, note that the Open Table website awarded Hugo's Cellar its Diner's Choice award in 2016.

Away from the Strip, in East Vegas, you'll find this small and confidential address. Filet mignon, pork chops, chicken ballotins, sea bass, squid ink pasta served with bacon, fish roe and parmesan cheese... In a subdued atmosphere where the waiters are dressed as in the prohibition era, you can enjoy American-style grilled meats and seafood dishes.
