Hotel in Bruges in a 15th century mansion with a lounge and a view of the canals.

Situated in a peaceful and attractive area, this hotel opened in 1967, in a 18 th century merchant residence, offers a small family welcome, warm and very restful, and offers rooms with canal views. A lounge where drinks are served until 23 am is at your disposal. Many styles emerge from furniture. Its picturesque façade of red bricks gives a special charm to the place.

So far this has been our favorite hotel of our trip. The gentleman at check in was very helpful. At check in he gave us a map of the city and showed us points of interest on the map. Room was clean, spacious, with a very comfortable bed. We had a partial view of a canal and the bathroom was spacious both of which my wife loved. It also had an elevator for people concerned about carrying up luggage. The only negative, for us, was it was a little farther from the city center. It was very easy to walk for us and not a problem, but others may not appreciate it. There are still great views and restaurants near by. We hope to visit again and if we do we will check with this hotel first and hope it will have a room available.
