I enjoyed my time here but I have a few points. Very comfortable bed. Door handles would fall off, and the showers have hot water sporadically, I can't seem to figure out the schedule. My room had no electricity so I had to charge my phone in the hall. Very inconvenient but these things happen.

I arrived late after a long motorcycle journey and was told there were no laundry facilities for all my wet clothes, turns out there were and I was misinformed.Perhaps a misunderstanding but nonetheless quite disappointing, given I was hanging my wet clothes from the end of the bunk to try and dry them. I would return as I suspect my experience is not typical of a stay here, and all of the staff I spoke to were very helpful otherwise.

I was over charged for my booking by €260. A significant amount of money. This was back in December. I was promised a refund which bounced from my bank. I have since tried to contact the hostel multiple times since December about this and I have still not received my money.

En general bien acorde con el precio.
En la habitación no hay lugar para dejar las mochilas, ni las camperas. Solo hay una pequeña caja de seguridad por cama.
Estuvimos en el tercer piso que es agotador llegar por las escaleras que son súper pequeñas y empinadas. Olvida llevar valijas.
En nuestro piso solo había un inodoro y dos duchas.
Camas cómodas, poca ventilación y limpieza regular.
El espacio común es muy acogedor y grande. No puedes llevar tu alcohol , debes comprarlo en el bar.

Muy buena experiencia, es mi primer viaje sola y el miedo que más tenía era el hospedaje. Pero demostró todo lo contrario!!!!! Quede encantada, la ubicación muy cerca al centro, la habitación compartida fue muy cómoda, los espacios comunes y el bar son de 10. Y el recepcionista muy amable y servicial con todos los chicos que estábamos. Volveré sin duda!

I booked for a bed in a female room - I was extremely shocked by the condition of my bed, there were flies that had been slapped against the wall which was the ceiling of my bed, and clearly nobody even bothered to clear the flies. I was seeking for a refund but the receptionists said this was not possible, and was told to email the hostel owner. After emailing, they don't even bother replying.

The bathrooms were not clean and and the bedsheets had small black residuals scattered everywhere. I opened the safety lockers inside the room and similarly I can only see dirt/dust to the point that I did not use any of them.

When I decided to leave early than what I have booked for, I told the receptionist (on Xmas day) about the situation, she acted passively aggressively, and said ‘Give me the key then.’

The cleanliness of this hostel is deeply unacceptable, shame on them.

La atención excelente, tuvimos un inconveniente a la hora del checking pero se portaron muy bien con nosotros y nos resolvieron de la mejor manera. Los recomiendo.

Owners are lying thieves

We had a bed booked in an all female 4 bed dorm. 1 bed was occupied by a man and the bed booked to us had been slept in and had clothes on it.

The staff at the desk refused to go and confirm the situation or do anything to do about it. We were told to go and move someone else's stuff off our bed and remake it with fresh sheets ourselves and check in the morning for a refund.

In the morning the manager/owner was around and when we told them of the situation he checked the room but apparently it was empty. We overheard him saying that we were lying.

We showed him photos we took of the man sleeping in the women's dorm and the spare bed, and he still refused to process a refund claiming "back of house" isn't available til after we left Bruges.

Owners refuse to respond to any attempts at contact.

As other reviews say, there is 0 security. 24/7 unlocked front door with no staff at reception, no locks on luggage room, dorm rooms are locked/unlocked manually with a key so it is barely left locked as people go in and out. Bathrooms are dirty and always wet and the beds/bedding are stained.

12 bed dorm is the smallest and most cramped dorm I've seen. Tiny beds in a beehive like structure with no shelving or hooks or storage space so the rest of the floor was almost entirely covered with everyone's luggage.

Worst hostel experience. Owners accept 0 responsibility.

It is a safety concern for many reason to book all female dorms. The hostel did not care at all.

Top ervaring gehad in deze hostel! Super personeel, er wordt meermaals per dag gekuist in de badkamers en toiletten en heeft een ideale locatie.

Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience in this hostel.
The bathrooms were very dirty and they did not provide anything to dry hands, so the environment was always wet. The bed sheets and mattress had dirty stains on them.
At 3 am, the fire alarm went off for maybe 15 minutes, I read in other reviews that this had already happened before, and it seems that nothing was done to fix it.
It was very difficult to find someone in the reception. Everytime we needed, we had to wait for at least 15 min, which is very inconvenient when you have a limited time to explore the city.
We had to leave our luggage in the hostel after checkout, and the room is freely accessible to anyone, and the hostel says they don't hold any responsibility for any theft inside the room. I would not recommend this place at all. Spend a bit more money in something better, even if it is a bit farther, Brugges is small and you can do everything by foot.

Amelia, women with blond hair is so rude and while talking to other people staying there, there were more with the same opinion.

I meant to stay for a week, but decided to refund my days after only staying here for 2 nights. I went to snuffel hostel, which is MUCH better... Spacious rooms and no rude staff or owner!

My room was smaller than my broom closet, while there were 4 beds!! Imagine 3m wide and 5m long (for your americans, 1.5 long person width and 1.5 times the width as length). Impossible to have 4 people in that room...

The rooms were pretty dirty and the bedding was worse. There was a sink in the room but no soap and only one toilet for the entire floor (multiple rooms per floor). The whole place was very noisy too as I could clearly hear people through the walls and doors shutting throughout the building. The staff was nice enough and there were no people partying but I would not recommend it until the clean it up and offer clean bedding.

Horrible, muy muy sucio, tanto las habitaciones como los baños, colchones y almohadas.
No hicieron actividades como se publicitaba, solo el último día. No lo recomiendo, sobretodo por la falta de limpieza

Tuve que hacer un viaje a Bélgica por actividades de la universidad y logré encontrar este alojamiento muy bien ubicado, bastante cómoda la habitación, con un bar en la parte de abajo, todo muy limpio y ordenado, eso si, agregaría un lugar para dejar la ropa en el baño ya que solo hay una percha para la toalla y con el frío del clima no dan ganas de salir de ahí, pero en general me lo pasé muy cómodo a un precio accesible.
