Between Capo Colonna and the village of Castella, Capo Rizzuto is a vast protected natural area. Created in 1991, it is the most important marine reserve on the Calabrian coast. The whole area is an excellent spot for diving and snorkelling, where the seabed is among the most beautiful in southern Italy.
