Three small islands, accessible by boat, face the town. The largest, Sveti Marko, was home to a Club Méditerranée hotel complex in the 1960s. The islet of Ostrvo Cvijeća, or "Island of Flowers", is home to the ruins of the Archangel Michael Monastery. In the 13th century, it was the seat of the Zeta kingdom. The island of Our Lady of Charity (Gospa od Milosti) is home to a monastery dating back to the 19th century.
