4 000 inhabitants. Located on the new road between Yalta and Sevastopol Simeiz is part of these Crimean villages which reconcile you with the peninsula even when roads and beaches are crowded during the peak tourist of August. Simeiz is located on the edge of the White Swan Mountain. The white rock walls dominating the city give it a weak appearance of paradise at the foot of a disaster. You can easily find rooms in the living room near the bus station. The beach is also superb in the heart of a bay reminiscent of Mediterranean coves. Large wooded promenades bring a refreshing wind under the summer sun. No monument to visit but the city has a certain charm with its early th century buildings, parcs parks and incongruous statues. If you drive the Crimea by car, it is an obligatory step. By bus, connections are rarer.
