In Murten's oldest cellar or on the terrace, you will be served the regional cuisine of the canton of Fribourg: the best cheeses of the region (in particular those of the Marsens-Vuippens cheese dairy) and meats aged for up to 8 weeks in an on-site meat locker. The fondue here is one of the ten best in Switzerland. The welcome is warm and French is spoken perfectly. The owner, Gilles, is a restaurateur in Murten like all the members of his family.
