The Saumonier Cherbourg is the only salmon farm in the harbour in France. The salmon is farmed in pure waters, is fed thanks to specifically designed sustainable fishing and is not subjected to any chemical products. This gives its flesh a natural, firm and tasty texture. A range of smoked products is also available: haddock, cold-smoked mackerel, hot-smoked and scented mackerel, etc. You can also visit the premises, including the aquaponic farm.

A beautiful shop, in the heart of Cherbourg, from which emanate intoxicating scents even on the pavement! In addition to the famous coffee roasting offer (made for no less than 16 different vintages), the place proposes many teas and local products. Hundreds of references are on offer here, from whisky to the most unexpected spirits, and you'll be advised by Thomas, who also runs the cocktail bar nearby. Many of the spirits on offer are the result of the team's relentless research: nuggets waiting to be discovered.

The interior is not lacking in colour, the products are not lacking in flavour! As its name suggests, Le Monde du macaron offers you these well-known specialities first and foremost. Here, they are made with excellent products, according to the hexagonal know-how: it is full of flavours, and declined according to multiple perfumes. If chocolate lovers are also in the spotlight here, with some nice proposals, you can also come here at lunchtime. The sign allows you to enjoy a salad, waffles or some pancakes.

Respecting the environment: this is the credo of this aquaponic farm located on the heights of the city. Here, trout, raised in several basins, filter the water that will be used to water the crops. The fish, like, of course, the produce from the greenhouses, is sold. We have to admit that, if the technique is still too rare, the result is exceptional: it is tasty, and we leave here having contributed to the maintenance of responsible crops.

It is on the commercial Place des Résistants that opened, at the end of last August, this nice delicatessen, managed by David. Here, the choice is vast and the possibilities are multiple. You will find many culinary references from the area, such as the charcuterie de la Trappe and many cheeses. But the offer does not stop here, since Le Panier also offers wines, cakes, and coffee: unbeatable!

Who hasn't tasted the products of La Trinitaine? Originally from Brittany (which goes to show that Normans and Bretons agree at least on the taste of good things!), the brand is best known for its cookies, whose success has been undiminished for over 50 years. But the Cherbourg store goes beyond this, offering dozens and dozens of local gastronomic references: ciders and other spirits, jams and jellies, all carefully packaged to guarantee a successful gift idea!
