The Chantereyne aquatic centre offers, in addition to its elevated pool which allows you to get close to the masts of the boats in the neighbouring marina, a relaxation area (whirlpool bath, hammam, sauna) for luxurious relaxation at a low cost. In summer, the large solarium, sheltered from the wind, will be a pleasant end to your break, whether for sport or for well-being. In the morning, the view of the sunrise over the port is sublime. A few dozen meters from the town hall, the aquatic center also has many free parking spaces.

This brand new place is good for letting off steam, but not only! Jump'Up Cherbourg is of course trampolines, but not only. Because this 940 m² indoor space also offers a cardio wall, a basketball area, a slackline area (to walk on a wire like a tightrope walker) or a reaper, made of two articulated arms that turn and try to make you fall. The list is not exhaustive, and the place caters to young and old alike, who can organize their private events here.

On the heights of La Glacerie, the Cherbourg golf course overlooks the city's harbour in a veritable green setting, so charming that it has been ranked one of the most beautiful courses in the region. The 9-hole course is fairly flat, with narrow fairways and small, well-designed greens. Conveniently accessible, it also offers lessons and equipment hire. A golf school is available for younger players, and please note that carts are prohibited to preserve the course.

It is equipped with a starting mound, singles, pros, doubles and tables. The track is in good condition and has lighting. Admission is free and the track is located outdoors.

The Hague Model Air Club is a model airplane club located in Flottemanville-Hague, in the town of Cherbourg-en-Cotentin. Since 1974, the club has been offering model airplane activities, with competitions and regular meetings. The club has had premises financed by the commune since 2019, as well as two asphalt runways. It has around 60 members, including more than 15 competitors in various categories (planes, gliders, helicopters, models). The club has won numerous titles, with over 63 gold, 20 silver and 27 bronze medals, including 14 individual and team world championship titles. The Hague Model Air Club also organizes events such as open days and large glider meetings, and recently hosted the French Aerobatic Championship in 2023.

Europe's largest artificial harbour is home to one of those sports where conviviality is the watchword. Whether you're a sailor or a beginner, sea kayaking offers the advantage of being able to navigate without any apprehension and enjoy the scenery. The club is also a school for paddling, eskimo rolling, ocean racing, surfing, skiing and pirogue. All instructors are state-qualified. The club also offers training for the FFCK initiator's diploma, sea option of the Normandy league.

It is in the east of the city, this vast space of 500 m² on which you can devote yourself to the pleasures of rollerblading! Here, everyone is free: you can dance, do a few laps around the track, let off steam in complete safety. There is no shortage of occasions to come: family events, birthdays or simply the desire to play sports! Of course, the place offers rollerblade rental, and lessons for novices who want to improve their skills. And if you are a novice, you will be well supported by the team!

This is a must for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts, just a few kilometres from the Cherbourg area! At the heart of this Sport-Nature area on the Saint-Gabriel moor, there are many activities on offer! From mountain biking to archery and golf, everything is there to please both amateur and seasoned sportsmen and women! Unique in the region: orienteering is also possible here!

The Cherbourg Sailing School, which totals no less than 1,500^m2 of usable space spread over two levels, has a reception hall, classrooms, changing rooms, staff offices, school users' premises and the rowing club. The school welcomes children from the age of 6, is open for school holiday courses, sea classes, provides departmental dinghy training, sports instruction, or licence training.

It is a national reference in the field: the Regional Centre for Circus Arts is a place of art and culture entirely dedicated to the emergence of new forms of circus arts. The structure welcomes artists in residence and offers a very rich programme. Beginners or big names in this world of the spectacle in full revolution, all have a beautiful tool of accompaniment towards creation. Every year, the place is the heart of the Spring festival, dedicated to these arts.

Pôle Plongée Normandie offers management training and everything you need to dive in the best possible conditions: boat, equipment, inflation station, changing rooms, classrooms...
