Sports pool, leisure pool with waterfall, play lagoon for the little ones with slide and equipment, outdoor river, pentagliss: the center offers a real panoply of entertainment.

The Chantereyne aquatic centre offers, in addition to its elevated pool which allows you to get close to the masts of the boats in the neighbouring marina, a relaxation area (whirlpool bath, hammam, sauna) for luxurious relaxation at a low cost. In summer, the large solarium, sheltered from the wind, will be a pleasant end to your break, whether for sport or for well-being. In the morning, the view of the sunrise over the port is sublime. A few dozen meters from the town hall, the aquatic center also has many free parking spaces.

Europe's largest artificial harbour is home to one of those sports where conviviality is the watchword. Whether you're a sailor or a beginner, sea kayaking offers the advantage of being able to navigate without any apprehension and enjoy the scenery. The club is also a school for paddling, eskimo rolling, ocean racing, surfing, skiing and pirogue. All instructors are state-qualified. The club also offers training for the FFCK initiator's diploma, sea option of the Normandy league.

The Cherbourg Sailing School, which totals no less than 1,500^m2 of usable space spread over two levels, has a reception hall, classrooms, changing rooms, staff offices, school users' premises and the rowing club. The school welcomes children from the age of 6, is open for school holiday courses, sea classes, provides departmental dinghy training, sports instruction, or licence training.

The Pôle Plongée Normandie association is part of the FFESSM and operates from the port of Cherbourg or, more often, from the Collignon leisure center. Pôle Plongée Normandie offers management training and everything you need to dive in the best possible conditions: boat, equipment, inflation station, changing rooms, classrooms...
