Beware of confusion: contrary to popular belief, Darlowo is not on the sea, but 2.5 km inland. The small port that shares its name, which is on the coast, is called Darłówko, the two being linked in a common agglomeration, so the amalgam is quite common. While Darłowo is a town of culture, with interesting buildings, it has also become a pleasant seaside resort, with a series of small canals in the town, providing very pleasant scenery, as well as a bucolic atmosphere. It's a perfect stopover for combining tourism and seaside pleasures.
