Close to Reszel, this hamlet boasts a magnificent Baroque monastery built around a wooden Miraculous Virgin. During the 18th century, its original church became famous and was gradually surrounded by other buildings, including a cloister that became a real monastery. The region's greatest artists contributed to its embellishment with sculptures, paintings and ebony, making it a veritable jewel of Baroque art. The site is also famous for the concerts played on its monumental organ, animated by mechanical figurines dating from 1721 (May to September), attracting the curious and pilgrims alike.
