The town of Choma can be a nice stopover on the road between Lusaka and Victoria Falls, since it is located 292 km from the capital and 194 km from Livingstone. Moreover, the city has an interesting small museum dedicated to Tonga culture. All buses between Lusaka and Livingstone stop at Choma, an important crossroads for the local population of about 50,000 people. Choma is known for its number of bars and clubs that have hosted local stars such as the Zambian kwaito-reggae pop singer Mampi. One can also choose to stop in Choma for a short trip to Lochinvar Park.
