Located north of Monze, this park covers 430 km². In its northern part, the Chunga Lagoon is part of the Kafue Flats, declared a wetland of international interest by the WWF. Thousands of Kafue lechwe kobs, an endemic subspecies of aquatic antelope, frolic here according to the seasons and floods. One can also meet zebras, wildebeest, monkeys, warthogs, kudu, buffalos... Birdwatching enthusiasts will be delighted with more than 400 species of birds. Lochinvar is not lacking in interest with its beautiful landscapes of grasslands and wooded hills, its amazing termite mounds where the candelabra tree grows.
