Rödental is not a very old locality, since its origins can be traced back to... 1971 ! Its 13,000 inhabitants are in fact the conglomeration of several urban entities around Rosenau. There's nothing really earth-shattering to discover in this town. However, if you're in the Coburg area, there are two places of interest: Rosenau Castle (former manor house of the Dukes of Saxe-Coburg) and the Museum of Glass (Europäisches Museum für modernes Glas). And if there's time, you can also take a trip to the Domäne.
