Travel Guide Magaruque

The island of Magaruque has long been the least visited of the archipelago. It's also the smallest, just 1.6 km long and 1.4 wide. Less well-equipped to receive tourists, it has remained a little out of the way, but is offered as an excursion from Vilankulo. The coral reef visited by snorkeling is different. There's a very long break on a pretty little beach, leaving plenty of time to visit the surrounding village during the day, before or after the barbecue lunch organized by the boat's crew. Today, a lodge has made its home here, but these are luxury villas with several very expensive rooms.
