I loved my time here, and would return again with no doubts. For an escape away, just relaxing with the sun, a cool breeze, and all inclusive service in the adults only area, I couldn't have been happier.

Good food, cooked fresh in front of you, specialised restaurants if you fancy, bars everywhere, and the peace and serenity of your own slice of paradise. Great

Hotel looks tired and run down. Service ok but never made to feel like a valued customer. Food ok, but mainly fried, repetitive and monotonous. Probably the worst Riu hotel I have stayed in.

If you there for a week and hope to have a couple of dives from this ‘ onsite dive centre’ don’t waste your time, they are never available for diving and probably not capable of making sure you safe on the dive anyway.

Wir sind jetzt zum 3x im Touareg und sind eigentlich immer noch begeistert von dieser riesigen Anlage. Der Strand ist der Hammer, man kann laufen ohne irgend jemanden zu stören.

Am großen Pool muss ich leider sagen der verfall ist zu sehen von Jahr zu Jahr. Die Fliesen fehlen es gibt auch an einigen stellen Verletzunggefahr. Es ist schade das da nichts gemacht wird.

Das Essen ist abwechslungsreich und jeder findet etwas.
Die Kellner überall auf der Anlage sind freundlich und hilfsbereit.

TollesHotel,Strand traumhaft, leider baden im Meer unmöglich zu hohe Wellen.

The pool area for sunbathing is not big enough for the number of guests there are.no areas to have a drink away from the noise in an evening the entertainment is average at best. the food was plenty the specialist Asian restaurant was a disappointing visit as after I had eaten my starter there was no other food left it was a 1 and half booking and most food gone within the first half hour and people gone. ????

Kamer was gedateerd en kon wel een update gebruiken. Schoonmaak was wisselvallig en ontbeerde aan details,
zoals (uberhaupt) verstrekken van schone handdoeken. Het eten is standaard en vrijwel dagelijks hetzelfde. Net als de entertainment, pas vanaf 21:00 is er iets van afwisseling zichtbaar. Toezicht op gasten is er niet, bijvoorbeeld op 'vapen' aan tafel of zonder shirt bij het eten aanschuiven. Of ergerlijker nog bedjes aan het zwembad bezet houden, terwijl je er niet bent. Alles bij elkaar zeker geen 5 sterren ervaring, maar het zonnige weer maakt in deze tijd een hoop goed.

Don't stay here unless what to be in a mix between butlins and benidorm.
Food awful. Do not stay if you have any food intolerance or allergy or vegetarian or vegan as its almost impossible to eat a meal.
In 1 week I think I've had 1 ok meal. I've lost weight on an all inclusive it's that bad.
Entertainment awful. 1 OK show rest woke nonsense and a lecture on us destroying the planet... awful.
Only good thing, the Spa and you pay extra for treatments so not not including that in hotel review.
Trip we went on was awful so cancelled the rest.
4 out of 3 days cloudy and there's absolutely nothing to do if cant sunbathe.
Would not consider returning, absolutely not worth the money.

Está siendo todo fantástico.

Lo que más destacaría es el trato de los trabajadores hacía los clientes, muy cercanos, te hacen sentir agusto, muy educados… algo que en España es muy raro encontrar.

El hotel está súper bien, muy bonito y limpio.

La comida una gran variedad, era algo que temíamos al salir de España, y para nada se come fenomenal.

Tienen una App que ayuda muchísimo. Ante cualquier “problema” de momento lo solucionan.

Las actuaciones y animaciones estupendas, nos ha encantado el baile típico de aquí.

Sinceramente no le encontramos ningún desperfecto al hotel ni a nada.

Agradecer a Jorge, el director de este hotel, el gesto de saber que habíamos dos españoles en la isla y aconsejarnos de actividades y playas que podemos visitar.

Está siendo una luna de miel perfecta! Gracias a todo el equipo de RIU Toureg, sois maravillosos.

Underbart hotell och trevlig personal. Maten och servicen har verkligen varit toppklass. Rent snyggt och stort. Många olika poolområden. Vi bodde direkt vid stranden och havet. Fanns inget att klaga på. Rekommenderas

Es war ein ganz tolles Hotel, es hat alles gepasst, besonders der Strand war eindrucksvoll, sehr sehr eingeschränkt möglich bis gar nicht möglich, wegen den teilweise sehr hohen Wellen... die Fahne am Strand strikt beachten, da ist Sal Rei der Strand ruhiger.

Dort geht es vom Baden her. Ansonsten Essen und Trinken ganz gut, besonders Adults only Bereich sehr gut, auch die Pool Bar .

Bei den Katzen, ist es so, es gibt extra Katzenfutter zum füttern. Es wird extra daraufhingewiesen, das man keine Lebensmittel verfüttern darf, wer das macht braucht sich nicht zu beschweren.
Es gibt eine Cats Café Station, wo man Katzenfutter findet.

Ansonsten Zimmer ordentlich gepflegt, eine Renovierung wäre empfehlenswert, aber man soll auch nicht zu viel erwarten, da man außerhalb der EU ist, muss man sich eben anpassen. Was einige wohl nicht konnten, von daher kann ich da deren Bewertungen nicht ganz nachvollziehen. Auch vor Ort das gejammere konnte ich nicht nachvollziehen.

Dann soll eben der eine oder andere zu Hause bleiben.

WLAN funktioniert aber nicht vergleichbar wie zu Hause Bandbreite so ca. 1-2Mbit, abends deutlich weniger weil viele im Netz unterwegs sind.

Ansonsten kann ich es empfehlen, besonders der Abdults only Bereich sollte man vorab buchen wenn man ein wenig Ruhe genießen will.

Der normale Bereich ist auch okay da sich das gut verteilt, aber irgendwie doch soviel Menschenmassen. Trotz alle dem rundum ein schöner Urlaubsort. Mal was anderes, als Malle und Co.

If you want somewhere to go that is in the 30s in November or January Cape Verde is your place.
This time we stayed in Boa at the Touareg and it was wonderful.
The buffet offered a huge choice of dishes. The cocktails were divine and we had the most laziest of times round the pool.

I had read some pretty worrying reviews prior to coming here I.e about food poisoning and other.

I have been lucky enough to have gone to multiple all inclusives around the world and tbh this IS a good all inclusive not sure where these negative reviews have come from.

It's November and the weather is incredible round 30c at the peak, and a pleasant mild 20-23c in evenings. Staff are friendly and I think service is good. The food is good in quality and there are many vegetarian options, the meat tastes amazing too. Not too mention they have activities and while those are not extravagant they are perfectly fine????

The only downside so far is that the hotel is isolated so you'd need a taxi to explore the town in Boa Vista. Furthermore, at this time of the year at least the sea is too rough to swim in and everyone is advised to keep to the beach mostly. Plenty of swimming pools so not to worry though.

We had an amazingly relaxing holiday.
We'll be back!

Mal wieder AIl-inclusive Urlaub

Röd flagg hela veckan gjorde att vi inte kunde bada i havet vid hotellet.

Wie schon beschrieben ist es ein tolles Hotel das leider in die Jahre gekommen ist, extrem bemerkbar ist es am / im Poolbereich. Fliesen weggebrochen und die Beschattungsbereiche sind nicht mehr ganz. Dafür muss man sagen sehr freundliches Personal die einem jeden Wunsch erfüllen (Geburtstagstisch). Das Essen ist hervorragend vielseitig und jeder findet im täglich abwechselden Büfett etwas.
Was mich persönlich sehr stört sind die ganzen Katzen in der Anlage sowie im Restaurant Bereich. Somit leider nur 4 von 5 Sterne.

Fantastic holiday with no complaints at all..deffo go again.

Bestes Hotel, nur die Lage ist weniger belebt, wer einen Einsen Strand Sucht, beste Lage.

We came back this year after spending our Honeymoon here last year, we even brought friend's with us this time.
The hotel grounds are amazing, the staff work constantly and can't do enough for you. The food is plentiful and many choices.
The only thing that lets it down is the lack of cold water coming out the taps and shower that we experienced on 3 occasions. We were unable to shower, which for a 5 star hotel isn't acceptable.
The hotel needs refurbishing desperately, the pool areas and pools themselves are looking tired, some of the walkways are trip hazards.
Rather disappointed with our stay and if it doesn't get a much needed refurbishment we won't be returning again, which is a shame because it is in a beautiful place.
Come on RIU spend some money on this forgotten gem and let it sparkle again like it deserves to do.

Magnifique hôtel, mais impossible de rentrer dans la mer, trop fortes les vagues.

What an amazing holiday! Staff all so warm and welcoming, nothing too much trouble, all areas kept super clean, awesome selection of food, high quality and so much choice, the energy of the entertainment team was impressive and great to see, thanks to everyone ☺️

Beautiful Place to Stay.

Arrived around 4.30pm but had to wait half hour for our room to be ready and when you're in jeans and trainers it's so hot all you want to do is change after a long journey. Went to eat in the restaurant while we waited, which was a bonus. Food is ok, and lots of choice, but its manic with people not willing to queue up and just push in. Bit of a free for all. Bellboy took our cases to our room, which was the furthest away from reception(a 7minute 20 sec walk). We are 64 and 63 and hubby has a heart condition, i have Fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue, so was a problem for us.Room was cool and spacious. We stayed there the night as it was getting late, but the next day asked to move rooms nearer. Not a problem they was very accomodating and said go back at 2pm to get a key to view another room. We did and chose to take the new room which was a 2 min walk to and from everything, the restaurant, pool and reception. The only problem is not enough plugs to charge phones and other electrics. And the cats. We opened our patio door and about 5 kittens jumped over the wall trying to get in our room meowing for food. So we couldnt leave our door open as they was under the bed and in our cases. There is a cat protection scheme they are under and a vet comes in once a month to flea, worm and neuter them, so they are well looked after. Theres not many flies, but the few there are land on you when you're just dozing off on the sunbed so take repellant. There's no gnats at all. Staff are so happy in their work and nothing is too much trouble. They say "you're welcome" everytime you say thank you. The entertainment team are energetic and do a lot round the pool and sidelines. They even provide the evening entertainment on the stage at night for an hour with singing and dancing, putting on shows like Grease and going through the pop music years.Sunbeds are easy to get but are crammed in like sardines, so if you like privacy you're out of luck. And the same as anywhere people put their towels down at the crack of dawn and don't sit on them for ages. The hotel is the 3rd biggest in the world and it's huge. The main pool is massive with different sections, 1 part has a swim up bar with seating in the pool and can get a bit rowdy at times. but if you want quiet there's a infinity pool at the far end of the complex with a bar and entrance to the beach. The hotel provide pool towels and give you a red card to exchange for towels at the hut, we wasnt given any red cards so when we went to get towels we was refused and had to walk back to reception to get them and trudge back to the hut, a minor problem, but when its hot you dont want to be backwards and forwards, so make sure they issue you with a red card. There's a childrens pool separate to the main pool further away from main pool.The hotel is kept very clean and someone is always sweeping up any mess around the restaurant and floors are mopped. A lovely place but in the middle of nowhere, so take everything you need as it's in the middle of barren land. You could be anywhere in the world, so if you like to see a countrys culture, book some trips to get out and about. The sea is out bounds as it's so choppy, and the red flag is always flying. It looks inviting as it's so blue and we witnessed a couple of men crashing against the fierce waves, just as it was getting dark at 6pm. Lucky for them they didn't get swept away.

Hotel molto grande ed in posizione isolata. Nonostante la numerosa clientela non abbiamo fatto quasi mai file, anche perché la maggior parte degli ospiti rimane in zona piscina/animazione e quindi le sdraio in spiaggia, sotto le palme, sono quasi sempre libere.
È difficile fare il bagno nell'oceano in quanto le onde sono forti ma basta spostarsi nelle spiagge vicine e la situazione migliora.
Si possono fare lunghe (ma veramente lunghe);passeggiate sulla destra dell'hotel (la spiaggia di Lacacäo è lunga chilometri e, alla fine, si congiunge con la spiaggia di Santa Monica che è ancora più lunga) in compagnia dei granchi e degli uccelli.
Se vi piace camminare (portatevi dell'acqua) vi consiglio di andare a sinistra dove la spiaggia sembra terminare ma, alla fine, se fate una piccola salita e poche centinaia di metri potete raggiungere una piccola spiaggia dove le tartarughe depongono le uova (nella giusta stagione) e dove l'oceano è più tranquillo. Proseguendo ancora potete raggiungere il capo di Curral Velho che è il punto più al Sud dell'isola e, proseguendo ancora, raggiunge la spiaggia di Curral Velho, la salina ed il villaggio abbandonato (le palme vi aiuteranno a trovarlo) e, proseguendo ancora, la spiaggia di Joâo Barrosa.

Only stayed here for 1 week all inclusive but are planning to stay here for 3 weeks in the not too distant future. Wi-fi throughout the hotel. We stayed in a standard double in the adult side and couldn't find anything wrong. Buffet style for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Wonderful food and a huge selection to choose from. There are different restaurants on site for 'a la carte' which need booking. Staff are very attentive. The Atlantic Ocean here is pretty rough. The hotel and travel agents don't recommend swimming in it. As long as you pay attention to the waves, it's terrific. The hotel has many swimming pools and an adults only section with it's own pool. Definitely a great place to holiday. Only about 25 minutes from the airport.
