At an altitude of 850 m, Schoppernau is an old-fashioned resort full of charm. Its imposing Tyrolean chalets, covered with flaky, rectangular or half-moon-shaped wooden roofs, cultivate a tradition of hospitality. The ski lifts, which provide access up to 2,000 m, are located at the entrance to the village from Bregenz. Together with the village of Au, it's a particularly family-friendly destination in summer and winter alike.
