A small, peaceful and charming village. This mountain village is home to a modest family-friendly winter sports resort with two lifts. In summer, it's a pleasant base camp for conquering the Kanisfluh and Winterstaude mountains. A historic little train runs through the area, and architectural theme walks are available. Visit the important regional museum, housed in a historic chalet, with interesting collections on rural and mountain traditions, folklore, religious art... There's also a typical church, a picturesque edifice built in 1906 (Church of Saint Jodok).
