Čingov (504 m above sea level) is an important tourist centre of the Slovak Paradise. Located on its northern edge, in the extension of the Hornád River near Spišská Nová Ves and Smižany, Čingov is the northeast gateway to the Slovak Paradise. This small forest village, even if it is very touristic, is pleasant with its wooden chalets and cosy pensions. This resort also offers catering services and concentrates the mountain rescue centre and offices of the administration of the Slovak Paradise National Park. On a clear day, the view of the High Tatra Mountains is splendid.
