In the old fishing village on the banks of the river Ticino, the atmosphere is that of yesteryear, with a large fireplace and exposed beams, shelves covered with bottles and copper pots on the walls. An honest, abundant and generous cuisine honours the specialities of the region. Pumpkin and gorgonzola risotto, beef fillet and baked potato, ravioli, gnocchi and vegetable puff pastry; among the sweet treats, panna cotta, shortbread tart with jam and chocolate cake.
