This spa town of less than 11,000 inhabitants is located 20 km from the Polish border and is the self-proclaimed "northern gateway to the Jeseník Reserve", to which it gave its name; or maybe it is the other way around. Apart from its famous treatment center (Priessnitz), the town has a few interesting buildings but nothing really memorable. The most you can do is to stay in one of the many guesthouses and explore the surrounding area, which is much more interesting than the city itself. The daily bus or train service from Sumperk is easy and fast.
