It is one of the most beautiful water towns in Poland and also one of the oldest (the first thermal spring on site of which we keep track is exploited as early as ... 1498!), located as it is in the forests of the Biała Lądecka Valley, in the Góry Złote (Golden Mountains), at an altitude of about 500 m. This spa town is perfectly suited for people who suffer from rheumatism and circulatory system disorders, so there are many senior citizens walking its alleys. The exceptional heritage of the city is well worth a visit, especially since it has been spared most of the conflicts of the last centuries
