As with all good places in Venice, this one doesn't look like much. And it's not here yet that Venice will manage to ruin you. Head for the Squero San Trovaso, near the Accademia, where gondolas are repaired. You'll easily recognize this little store by its blue-and-white-striped marquee. These refreshing colors herald the devilishly creamy gelato, which attracts Venetians from far and wide to enjoy their gelato sitting on the edge of the little canal. No flavor will disappoint here. You be the judge!
