52 km north of Baalbek, and 2 km from the town of Hermel, in a desert corridor leading to Syria, you will see on your right this unusual monument. Take the new asphalt road that reaches the foot of the pyramid. Perched in the middle of an arid and desolate plain is a pyramid building with a height of 27 m, erected on a basalt basement. This pyramid, whose vocation remains uncertain, would be the burial of a Syrian prince of the first or second century BC. Beautiful sculptures - representing scenes of hunting - stand out at its bottom, while a pyramid surmounted by partially reconstructed pilasters overcome its upper part.
