From Villahermosa, go first to Heroica Cardenas, then take route 187 to the village of Paraiso, along the coast (at 1 h 30 of Villahermosa).It is a small beach with a charming hotel and a small restaurant. It is bordered by coconut trees, and many pelicans come fishing there. You can eat in fishermen's homes who will propose their day's fishing with local beer. To the east, the Mecoaca Lagoon is only 5 km from Paraíso.
