Of course, a Frenchman doesn't necessarily want to eat Breton pancakes when he comes to visit Stockholm. But this little local crêperie is well located and represents a cheap and pleasant alternative for a nice dinner. Four steps lead up to this haunt of French expats and Swedish lovers of good crepes. Regional cuisine restaurant

RESTAURANT OXENSTIERNAN

Swedish restaurant €€

This restaurant, housed in a gaudy orange building, is steeped in history and was once part of the 18th-century Oxenstierna farm. With its magnificent, peaceful setting, it's a little gem hidden away in the Östermalm district. The dishes are organically grown, locally sourced and seasonal. Each ingredient receives special attention, but Swedish cuisine remains the common thread running through every dish. In summer, you can relax on the terrace, far from the hustle and bustle of the city.
