This tea room, opened in 1870 on the initiative of a young pastry chef, Nicolaus Henningsen, remains a real institution in Copenhagen! Mahogany panelling, old-fashioned shop windows, brass counter, here is an unmissable address in the land of delicacies. You can taste the energy speciality, sportskage or "sportsman's cake". You'll understand that it takes a lot of breath to finish off the generous creamy portions! Ice cream is of course one of the specialities to try. If you're on a diet, the front of the shop is a feast for the eyes!

Looking for a place away from the hustle and bustle of the main roads? This is the place for you. Hidden between the houses by the lakes of Østerbro, Leckerbaer serves delicious homemade pastries and cakes! Traditional Danish cakes but revisited. A treat even for the eyes as they are beautiful to look at! And they are so refined and delicate that we would almost not dare to bite them... Take a break while drinking a cup of organic coffee of course, or take your delicacies with you in pretty packages.

SANKT PEDERS BAGERI

Patisserie

This small bakery in the heart of the Latin Quarter is said to be the oldest in Copenhagen. The bakery has always prepared typical pastries and several kinds of pastries to take away. The house speciality is tebirke, a puff pastry brioche filled with marzipan and sprinkled with poppy seeds. But it is only on Wednesday, and only on that day, that you can taste onsdagssnegle, an appetizing cinnamon roll. Be careful, you won't be the only one standing in line outside. Indeed, more than 4,000 are sold every Wednesday!

Gourmet friends, don't miss out! An address inspired by memories of childhood desserts. A French madeleine without the Proust! The mouth-watering pastries you can admire in the window will make your day. Here, you can enjoy pastries revisited. Le Petit Futé loved the Dolce tentation: a chocolate pistachio Alpaco cream sablé with pistachio orange blossom ganache. Hard to resist! A snack or lunch break? Choose the bistro formula.
