It is already 20 years since Throvaldsens Antique market became the favourite market of the Copenhaguen people in their treasure hunt for old objects. Golden location on the banks of one of the old canals near Christianborg Palace and the Thorvaldsen Museum. The history of the Holmegaard glassworks began in 1825. Here you will find all the treasures from the glassblowers' and designers' workshops in Naestved, a factory located in the south of the Seeland. Ole Høstbo opened this shop in 1992, which also serves as a gallery of unique and original masterpieces (shelves by Christian Vedel, Halyard chair by Hans J Wegner) and in particular contemporary objects in limited editions (Claus Bjerre...). The famous Danish Vipp litter garbage cans need no introduction. The Vipp story began in 1939, when Holger Nielsen, a young metalworker, built a sturdy pedal-operated dustbin for his wife Marie's hairdressing salon.
