Let's not forget that Copenhagen is first and foremost a port, and that seafood is a culinary staple. Fiskebar has a slightly different concept: it's afish and seafood bar. The products could not be fresher or healthier than if they were caught in season. The cuisine is successful: original salads, fish & chips, vegetarian dishes... The atmosphere is informal, lively and sometimes noisy. It warms up the rather crude, "fishmonger's slightly aseptic" style of the place, with its white earthenware tiles.

In 1669, Johan Gottfried Becker was commissioned by the royal family to build "The Elephant Pharmacy" on the remains of the former royal pharmacy, Copenhagen's oldest. During the reign of Frederik III, the pharmacy was used for pharmacology courses. For over 175 years! Today, under the name of Vita, a pleasant restaurant welcomes you. The menu features traditional Danish dishes, including the famous smørrebrøds.. . Plates are well garnished. One of their specialties is fried pork with parsley sauce ad libitum. Let's hear it!

If you have a sea legs, this restaurant is installed in a boat moored on the island, at the foot of the bridge of Langebro. Its specialty: seafood. If you are not a fan of shellfish, there is always a meat dish on the menu. It would be a shame not to enjoy the setting and the panoramic view of the Black Diamond. The restaurant participates every year in Diningweek, two weeks of gastronomy with a 3-course menu at a single price. The cuisine is made with fresh and seasonal products only!

A colorful sign draws attention to this wooden cottage set in a small garden, which houses a vegetarian and organic restaurant. It's like being in the countryside and, to complete the illusion, the toilets are also in the garden... An address for ecologists or not, and/or those nostalgic for the flavors of yesteryear. In any case, for all those who love authentic places that don't deny themselves. The restaurant is run by volunteers, so don't expect too much from the service. Live for the moment, it's great fun!

Pulpo is a bar-restaurant where you can stop for a cup of coffee in the sunshine, or enjoy a glass of wine or a cold beer at any time of day! Depending on your mood, opt for a quick lunch with a single course and a glass of wine, or for the 4-course tasting menu including wines, cheeses and desserts. The menu is inspired by Italian and Spanish cuisine (linguine with shrimp, fried calamari), with a few detours to South America (ceviche, N'duja). Good ingredients that change with the seasons throughout the year.

A former oyster bar when the fish market was in full swing in the square, this fish and seafood restaurant was founded in 1910. It is housed in a beautiful 18th century house decorated with large mirrors and murals executed in 1880 by a certain Valdemar Andersen. A timelessly chic address where you can enjoy oysters and shellfish, fish or lobster soup, sole or monkfish, smoked salmon... in a refined setting. Beautiful cellar and impeccable service on white tablecloths lit by candles. A romantic address.

In a residential street overlooking Østerbrogade, this butcher's shop also serves as a restaurant. The focus is on red meat: tournedos, entrecôte, rib steak and more. The meat is 100% Danish and organic. In the catering department, each piece of beef is served with seasonal vegetables and a creamy sauce. For your information, Gourmandiet was recognized in 2015 as one of the 5 best butchers in the world by WallStreet Journal. Quality and flavor for a takeaway treat, in a store whose decor couldn't be more original.

Cocks & Cows Tivoli is a corner set up in the gourmet patch of the Tivoli Garden. Grab a combo of burgers and a beer to rest after a roller coaster ride! The address is collective with 14 other food stands, so table reservations are not possible; but there are always tables available in the dining room, including on the lovely terrace where you can admire the beautiful view during your meal. There are two other addresses in Copenhagen: Gammel Strand and Skt Peders.

Located just outside the Halles, Souls' credo is burgers (the buns are incredible!) and mushrooms, gourmet, original and accompanied by delicious cocktails. This restaurant was created by two friends of Australian origin. Their credo is " eat like you give a fork ". From lunch break to late afternoon, you eat healthy, organic, local and seasonal food. You're doing your body and the planet a world of good. In fact, the Danes have clearly understood this, hence the numerous awards they've won since the place opened. A great recognition for Souls!

A great place to come for a weekday feast of wholemeal platters, in classic or vegan versions. To whet your appetite: sourdough and rye bread, comté, salami and bacon, scrambled eggs with hazelnut butter, a mix of cereals with herb ranch sauce, pickled cucumber and fresh fruit, granola skyr and buttermilk waffle with mascarpone cream... You'll leave feeling full and delighted, because everything is fresh, extra-fresh. You can also opt for smørrebrød. Weekend brunch. The house is also popular for its cocktails!

What a beautiful wooden architecture Paafuglen is! A structure entirely glazed like a greenhouse with, inside, a fairground decoration, very suitable for the atmosphere of Tivoli, and which projects us back to our childhood first by the eyes and then by the flavors. The menu here is full of well-known classics that are served quickly, so you can enjoy your dinner in peace before the show starts or after enjoying the park's attractions. Smørrebrød, salmon, pie, schnitzel, lemon meringue pie.
