A small incursion inland is necessary for nature lovers to discover the Roaring River and its amazing "blue hole". Unruly and tumultuous, it rumbles through a narrow bed, set in a gorge of tropical greenery, forming here and there lagoons with wise waters and bubbling waterfalls. Going up the river, we arrive at the hamlet of Blue Hole, where a few years ago a colony of foreigners adept at Rastafarianism was formed. The geological curiosity is behind it but unfortunately the right to dive there has become very expensive. Nearby, a ganja plantation can be visited.
