The central square of Karlsruhe is a fine example of classical architecture. In particular, observe the church with terrazzo columns and the Rathaus, originally from early th. In the center of the square was built a red stone pyramid, under which the founder of the city was buried, Karl Wilhem von Baden Durlach (quite exactly!).
